If you want the best food (currently only) To-Go in Leipzig, you have to eat a Kumpir! By far one of the tastiest shops. I don't want to be without it in my life: D The original is only available on Karl-Hein-Straße!

Unfortunately quite uncoordinated / slow. I had to wait 25 minutes for a kumpir (take away). (although not much was going on) When taking away they asked again for the amount of money. 4 stars for a good ambience, very tasty and adequate portion!

Unfriendly. Slowest. Food is cooked in a random order. We went hungry 45 minutes after ordering, it wasn't busy. What a shame

Experience from 08/22/20 After 11 p.m. there is nothing to eat even though the shop is open until midnight. I'm used to Berliner in the Berlin snout / friendliness, but the way you meet me here: “No more food !!!” really borders on any kind of friendliness. When asked “You are open until midnight?” Came a friendly “Where does that say ??”. Well then tomorrow ... Experience from 08/23/20 I meet the same waitress as I did last night. I am being polite and have a good day. They don't even look at me !!! Maybe I was too pushy yesterday? - I ask myself. No matter I want something delicious food! I placed my order ... Kumpir, a baked potato. Operation: very unfriendly without looking at me "Takes 50 minutes!" I didn't want to wait that long, and the waitress managed to spoil my appetite for the second time, because I'm no longer hungry. Due to the experience with the service in this store, I would not recommend this store to anyone, even advise against it! Can't say anything about the meal as I never got anything. Thanks for this experience.

Food was ok. The short bold seller took more money than the official menu price. When i asked him to give me my money back he was very unpleasant. He did exactly the same thing to my mom. Not gonna eat there again...

Warm potatoes are marketed really well here. Certainly vegetarians taste best.

The fact that it's always crowded here, speaks for itself. It's decent food, nothing fancy, just wraps and kumpir (that's basically a mashed potato in a bowl with whatever you choose, vegetables and/or meat or even cheese or yogurt) But it's all fresh, tasty and very cheap, prices vary between 5 and 7 euros.

One of my favorite places to eat in the west. I feel like I’m there every other week. The food is outstanding, authentic and well priced. Plus, people are so nice there. Just recently I was offered to pay the next day because I forgot my wallet. Didn’t do it in the end but it goes to show how well they treat their customers.

Extremely tasty buddy at fair prices. Nicely decorated and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is also very nice, everything really fits here!

Great Turkish cafe specialising in baked potatoes, or Kumpir. Lots of fresh salads and beautifully baked potatoes with a tasty, chewy skin. Quick service from friendly staff. Food looks and tastes good and portions are decent for the price. A great place for a substantial snack. Nice atmosphere.

Cosy and relaxed, delicious food.

Surprisingly, this is a very tasty and inexpensive dish. We made the potato that suited us, with the vegetables we like, with the proper grafting and of course being vegan. The food is served hot, varied and very inviting. The staff was very nice and helpful with English.

The Kumpir Orient was ok but I have already eaten way better ones elsewhere. Small potato and the ingredients ok - nothing special. He forgot the mokka coffee twice (after we reminded him at the first time..) not the best service !

Just an another turkish restaurant, Food looks fresh and appealing but meat is dry and portions are low but price more than average. If you look for turkish on Karl-henie-str go for it, else there are many other options in Street

So the food is nice. The place is great and pretty and has outdoor sitting. The problem is we are allergy people who can't have lactose and gluten and the person working there didnt care even tho we asked about each thing individually. I understand that not everyone knows everything about allergies but when we say plz don't add any butter and they say oki I expect them to not use the knife that is covered in butter. Gluten we explained but also not avoided. But yeah if you are not allergic to things it is great. Big portions and everything felt very fresh.

Do not provide any alergeen information Staff was rather clueless about gluten and lactose... If you like your potatoes drowned in butter youll like this
